One of the most cost effective ways to get into this niche of dentistry is surgical guides. They are so easy to make (with a little help) and are quite profitable. Bring your surgical guide fabrication in house and have better surgeries for less money.

This course will touch on a variety of topics meant to get you comfortable with basic surgical guides. Here are some of the things we cover:

Obtaining good records with instruction on intraoral scanning (I use the Trios) and tips to get better CBCTs.
Aligning STL files to set up for planning implant placement (we use Blue Sky Plan…free software).
Learn to make a tooth-supported guide as well as an edentulous guide.
Tips on 3D printing in-house, cleaning, and curing
Finishing the surgical guide so you are ready to go.
